Therapy can help us understand our feelings, motivations, and capacity for change. While traditional individual therapy is focused solely on the client, I approach this work from a systems perspective. Yes, I meet with you individually -- but I view you as a person that is impacted by relationships, social environments, and cultural connections. So, not only will we examine personal beliefs, values, and behaviors, but we also explore how these identities are formed and what their influences could be.
Many of the interventions I use are based in theories that recognize and value individual integrity, autonomy, and ability to change. This is helpful when we experience unreliable or harmful thoughts that then impact mood and behaviors. When we face societal or cultural pressure and bias, I prioritize interventions that are rooted in compassion, equity, access, and safety. My goal is to support you in finding balance between personal growth and systemic accountability.
I utilize methods and interventions from evidence-based therapies, such as Narrative Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Trauma-Informed, and various cognitive behavioral therapies.
These theories serve as a helpful framework and guide when we explore origins, connections, and solutions. However, you remain the expert on you. Therapy is a process, and your goals are the destination.
I specialize in complex trauma, chronic illness, moral injury, compassion fatigue, relationship and attachment issues, cultural marginalization, and the impacts of culture on self-image.
I am particularly interested in how we make meanings and stories, navigate and change social systems, and feel the impacts of moral injury within helping professions (medical staff, first responders, educators).

Clinical supervision is an essential part of post graduate training and support for Clinical Social Work Associates (CSWA). More than just a requirement of practice, quality supervision can offer an opportunity for growth, resilience building, and reinforcement of sustainable practice habits.
The work we do can be transformational, but it can also be challenging and often demoralizing. It's important to be able to explore and deconstruct these experiences in a safe, affirming space. My supervision style, much like my counseling style, is pragmatic, dynamic, and relational. I approach supervision as a highly individualized process, providing space for candor, compassion, and even conflict. The overall goal is support, insight, and growth.
I take this responsibility very seriously, centering the needs and concerns of each practitioner I supervise. I support this process from start to finish, including providing supportive documentation and Plan of Supervision forms to the Oregon Board of Social Workers.
This is your time. I am committed to helping you use it wisely.
Specializations include:
Medical social work, ethics, systems navigation and deconstruction, anti-oppressive practice, conflict within hierarchies,
as well boundaries with clients, colleagues, and management.
During our initial conversation, we will discuss your supervision goals and specific practice interests. You are encouraged to inquire about my practice and get a sense of if we are a good fit,
Typically, we will meet twice a month for an hour each session. I am available to meet on a weekly basis, if that is your preference/need. Conversely, we can discuss meeting once per month, if you are in group supervision.
Common topics include: case consultation, diagnostic questions/practices, resource gathering/sharing, risk assessment, and ethical dilemmas in practice.

Groups tend to meet twice per month, providing folks with the opportunity to get their hours completed in a timely manner. You will also need to be engaged in Individual Supervision if you have not yet met the required 50 hours of individual sessions.
Group supervision is a wonderful space for practitioners to learn from one another and develop community building practices in a safe, affirming environment,
